Articles can be of any length from 800 up to a maximum of 5,000 words (excluding references). References should be kept to a reasonable minimum. The Contemporary Issues in Education Research provides a forum for discussion and controversy. Articles may provide a broad overview of a particular area or issue; discuss theory; or debate applied issues and practical and professional problems. Consequently, views expressed in any section, which are signed by the writer, are the views exclusively of that writer: publication does not constitute endorsement by the Contemporary Issues in Education Research. This is in no way affected by the right reserved by the Editors to edit all copy published. All articles published will have been subject to anonymous peer review. Submissions need to be sent in MS Word formats. Submission of an article implies that it has not been published elsewhere and that it is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
